Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor

“Therapy has value for everyone. In this busy world filled with distractions and stressors, our spiritual and emotional health can be neglected and damaged.  We all need a safe place to process life. I am committed to creating an environment and relationship that allows you to speak freely without judgment, where you can develop insights that lead to personal growth and achievement, where you can explore beliefs and behavior that cause distress and dysfunction, and where you can work toward the changes you want in their life. If you are open to spiritual growth, you will be able to explore beliefs about God and the healing power of a relationship with Christ.

The goals on this journey are yours to develop and I look forward to helping you along the way.  Approaches I may use to help you meet your goals are cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, solution focused, and mindfulness based self-compassion. My trauma informed approach includes EMDR-eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive processing, and neuroscience education. I have experience with 12 step recovery principles as well as alternative and Christ based recovery approaches.”
