It’s my desire that therapy be goal oriented and also focused on my families healing from their past and moving forward into a healthy future. To accomplish this I prefer incorporating psychoeducation, emotional exploration, family history and Christian values (if client prefers).”

Biography
Christen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of  She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University Shreveport, and her Masters of Arts in Family Therapy from University of Houston Clear Lake. She has also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy program. Christen specializes in communication patterns, conflict, trauma, post-divorce, blended families, individual issues, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, female specific issues, infertility, and postpartum depression.

In her free time Christen loves watching the Astros with her hubby, and taking her 4 kids to the park. She also bakes the occasional birthday cake for friends and family.
